The State Government has assigned additional charge of the Department of Panchyati Raj and Drinking Water to senior IAS officer Sushil Kumar Lohani, who is now serving as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) for last three years.
With Ashok Kumar Meena leaving on a Government of India assignment, CMD Food Corporation of India (FCI), the State Government appointed Lohani in his place. Meena was serving in Department of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water.
IAS officer Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, who is serving as Principal Secretary Steel & Mines, has been assigned additional charge of the Department of Excise. Singh will continue as Chairman, OMC, OMECL and IDCOL.
IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh, at present Principal Secretary Rural Development and Information & Public Relations, is assigned additional charge of Commissioner Commercial Tax (CCT). He will continue as VC, BDA and MD, Smart City Limited.
