When the corona pandemic has wreaked havoc in the whole world, it had brought cheers to a family who have found their missing son after 15 year.
According to reports, one Kuben Mali of Dalbeda village under Chandahandi police limits in Nabarangpur district had gone to Gujrat as bonded labour 15 years back and did not return home ever since.
Though other labourers returned in time, he was missing.
In 2005 Mali had gone with a group of 37 labourers to Gujarat to work in a cement factory. After completion of the project, all others returned home except Mali.
His parents tried their best to trace him out but in vain. On the contrary, they were informed that their son had died in a road mishap.
They conducted death rituals of their son. Surprisingly, three days back, Mali talked to their parents by the help of Gujarat police and Nabarangpur MP Ramesh Majhi.
"The administration is trying to bring back Mali from Gujarat soon," said Chandahandi BDO Dharamraj majhi. Now an elated parents of Mali believe it could be possible due to the ongoing lockdown.
