People in Keonjhar district are joyous following the Governor’s announcement regarding setting up of a Government medical college and hospital in the district.
Notably, Governor SC Jamir in his address in the Assembly on Tuesday made the announcement for establishment of a medical college and hospital soon.
This has been welcomed by all MlAs, people’s representatives, workers of the Keonjhar Milita Kriyanusthan Committee, bar associations, press clubs, intellectuals and the general public.
People celebrated the move by bursting crackers, playing Holi and distributing sweets.
They expressed their gratitude to the Governor and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
