The ATMs of Tarbha are most of the time found defunct. As a result, the people of this Notified Area Council (NAC) area and as many as 22 panchayats are facing a lot of problems.
Especially patients, students, travellers and labourers have to face the difficulties as cash cannot be withdrawn from the ATMs. At times, the ATMs go defunct for days together. When asked, SBI Branch Manager Babulal Deep attributed the non-functioning of the ATMs to power cut due to chariot pulling. The locals have demanded a permanent solution to the problem.
