Vigilance police on Monday conducted simultaneous searches on the houses and office rooms of Khordha local Fund Auditor Debaraj Nayak acting on a disproportionate assets complaint lodged against him.
Nayak’s residential building at laxmisagar Upper sahi here, a house at Orapatta and paternal house at Bisimatri, both under Nimapara PS in Puri district and his office room at Khordha were searched. During searches, the Vigilance police found movable and immovable assents worth `48.40 lakh in the names of Nayak and his family members.
