The general body meeting of the life Insurance of India (lIC) Agents’ Association for the period 2017-18 was held here on January 11.
life Insurance Agents’ Federation of India (lIAFI) president BS Shukla was the chief guest. The agent who recorded highest business, Gangadhar Pradhan, was felicitated by Shukla. Addressing n the occasion, Shukla said that equivalent pay should be given to the lIC agents as lIC employees. He put emphasis on strengthening the association as well as the unity among the members. Amendment of provisions is also necessary, he added.
