The lead Rourkela Team, a social organisation, has been attracting people’s attention by taking up some commendable job in the steel city.
In a recent praiseworthy job, the team members extended all sorts of support to a poor family in cremating the body of a youth member, who died in a road mishap here. According to information, Chinmay Behera and two others, all Plus-two commerce students of the Vedavyas college, had died in a road accident on December 15. Chinmay’s family couldn’t cremate his body due to poverty.
Knowing this, lead Rourkela team members Aira Mohanty, Salil Parida, Sudhansu Sekhar Samal, Bharat Chandra Dash, Niranjan Choudhury, Dhrmananda Biswal, Bibekananda Pradhan, Manoj Satpathy, Susant Parida, Tapan Nayak, Biren Pati, Priyabrata Bhanja, Sibun Pattanaik and Sunil Barwa came forward to the familiy’s help and made all arrangements for cremation of Chinmay’s body at the Vedavyas Crematorium on Wednesday. Social activists Prasant Sethy, Biraj Biswal and Biraj Biswal were also present.
