The Arjun Hasa Club, Brhampur celebrated the World laughter Day here on Sunday.
MlA Dr RC Chyaupatnaik inaugurated the programme presided over by Shirish Prasad Mishra and attended by BMC Chairman Subash Chandra Moharana and Brahmapur University’s retired Professor Bishnu Charan Choudhury as guests. Choudhury spoke about importance of ‘Hasa’ (laughter) and Yoga in leading a healthy life.

Three senior members Prof Brajamohan Sasmal, G lachhman Dora and Mahadev Sahu were felicitated. Different competitive events were held among members and winners were awared o the occasion.
Among others, club vice-president Subrat Kumar Sahu, analyst Narasingha Panigrahi, joint secretaries Satyabadi Patra and Chandra Behera, executive members B Venugopal Patra, Kishore Chandra Jena, Parshuram Dalai, Narasingha Padhi, Manmath Padhi, Janardan Padhi, Anantram Panda, Rabindra Sahu and Samarendra Sahu and their spouses enjoyed the day.
