The State will witness first ever Sri lankan Kandian dance here at the Rabindra Mandap on Friday on the eve of the beginning of the International Buddhist Conference.
The visit of 12 Sri lankan dancers is being sponsored by the State Tourism and Culture Department and facilitated by Kalinga lanka Foundation in association with High Commission of Sri lanka. This initiative will mark a new beginning in reviving the ancient relationship between Odisha and Sri lanka, sources said.
