I congratulate former Union Minister Srikanta Jena for lambasting the State Government for allotting lands to some hoteliers and gold merchants in the name of development of tourism.
It is a trend to see that the Tourism Department leases out several of its prime properties worth crores to private entities which subsequently become the property of the lessees.
All those who are behind such fraudulent deals need to be taken to task after a thorough inquiry.
