The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) has taken many initiatives to improve the operational efficiency in the port in recent past.
This has led to achieving a landmark loading figure of 69,000 metric tonnes of iron ore pellets by Essar Bulk Terminal (Paradip) ltd in 24 hours’ time at the CQ-III berth on the vessel MV PEDHOUlAS TRADER on Wednesday. The previous best loading of iron ore pellets in a single day was achieved on the vessel MV. AARTI PREM on March 25 this year with loading of 56,618 metric tonnes, according to a Press release by the PPT.
