The joint eviction team consisting of BDA, BMC and GA department officials on Wednesday demolished unauthorised construction made by two women on Government lands in Kalarahanga and Patia mouzas.
According to a BDA Press release, one Gayatri Bhuyan of plot number 1676 and 2788/2892 had constructed boundary wall and one asbestos house encroaching Government land and road in Kalarahanga mouza. On Wednesday the eviction team demolished the illegal construction.
Similarly, the team demolished illegal construction made by one Gitanjali Behera of plot number 408 between sub plot number 22 and 22/01in Patia area. She had constructed boundary wall encroaching road violating the BDA layout.
Adequate security arrangements were made to prevent any untoward incident.
