Now it is the turn for Bana Baba of Konark. The Kakatpur Tehsildar on Monday initiated efforts to free all land encroached by the Baba on the Konark-Kakatpur Road near Bali Dokan.
The Baba has allegedly encroached acres of Government land, including 15 acres forestland, and erected his mutt and an apartment building.
The Central RDC had directed the Kakatpur Tehsildar to conduct a spot inquiry and take action. “After completion of land demarcation, appropriate actions will be taken,” the Tehsidar told reporters.
