A mega labourers’ meeting was held before the IOCL Paradip Refinery Project administrative building here on Sunday with Biju Sramik Welfare Board Chairman Subash Singh presiding over it.
Ministers Pratap Jena, Usha Devi and Prafulla Samal, eminent trade union leader Santosh Kumar Pattnaik, Buju Sramik Sammukhya president Rajendra Prasad Singh, MLAs Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Debasish Samantaray and Prasanta Muduli, Jugal Kishor Nayak and Golakh Chandra Nayak slammed the IOCL authorities for their step-mother attitude towards the land losers, displaced families and local unemployed youths.
Trade union leader Santosh Pattnaik expressed his gratitude to the Ministers, MLAs and Biju Sramik Sammukhya leaders for their kind cooperation with his local union. Earlier, Pattnaik had welcomed the guests from Zero Point to the meeting place with a mega rally of about 5,000 men and women labourers.
