A day after Union Steel and Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar announced that the SAIl would set up a second steel plant in Odisha, the BJP State unit on Monday expressed its gratitude to him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The announcement of a second steel plant in the State shows the seriousness of the Union Government for the development of Odisha. The commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for development of eastern parts of the country is gradually materializing,” said BJP State unit president KV Singh Deo.
