To bring transparency in the process admission and minimize the possibility of keeping the entire admission process lingering unnecessarily, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office Bhubaneswar has developed a centralised approach for the admission of Class-I in all Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) here for 2016-17.
The approach has been initiated by KVS RO Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner l Chari. For this, a meeting was convened in the regional office under Chari’s chairmanship and in the presence of all Principals of all the six KVs.
It was decided that all local Vidyalayas here shall complete the draw of lots for Class-I in different categories, including RTE on or before March 19. The admission list of RTE would be displayed on the Vidyalaya notice board and on respective Vidyalaya websites on March 20. For the KV-I, KV-IV, KV-V and KV-VI, there would be a common venue for draw of lots in consultation with the VMC Chairman. There would be a combined on-the-spot admission for all the local KVs at Kendriya Vidyalaya-V here on March 21, said Chari.
While admission of RTE candidates will be held on March 21, admission of Priority Categories, all reserved and Category-I will be held on March 22 and 23. Similarly, admission of left out SC/ST/PH and rest Category-I will be held on March 26.
