A court case has been filed here against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for alleged police inaction in the Kunduli gangrape victim’s death case.
The case was filed at the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court on Tuesday by Sachetan Nagarik Manch convener Priyadarshan Pattnaik alleging that the CM is responsible for the girl’s suicide as he heads the Home Department. The petitioner has alleged that the minor girl gangrape victim ended her life out of mental trauma as the Home Department failed to provide her justice. The case was filed against the CM under Sections 302, 306, 376, 506 and 120B of IPC.
