A longstanding demand of Kujang lawyers, legal professionals and litigants would to be fulfilled after the Kujang Additional District Judge Court would be inaugurated on January 20, informed Kujang Bar Association president ND Yadav.
Speaking to mediapersons, Yadav said that Orissa HC Justice AK Rath would inaugurate the court, accompanied by Jagatsinghpur District Judge RN Mishra, besides judicial officers of Kujang and Jagatsinghpur courts. Earlier three courts as Civil Judge Court (Junior Division), JMFC and Sub-Judge Court are functioning in Kujang.
The litigants were facing inconveniences due to absence of ADJ Court in Kujang and were forced to go Jagatsinghpur headquarters for an appeal. Lawyers association including several social cultural organizations across Kujang, Paradip and Erasama areas had been demanding establishment of an ADJ Court in Kujang.
