Acting an allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Koraput SSA DPC office Technical Consultant Bikram Keshari Pradhan, Vigilance sleuths on Friday conducted simultaneous raids on his office room and houses at various places and detected assets worth Rs 1,49,50,619 in his and his family members’ names.
Pradhan’s rental house at Kotpad and office room in Koraput district, paternal house at Kamarda and father-n-law’s house at FM Nagar in Baleswar district and a duplex house near Tamulia gate near Balaswar town were searched on the strength of search warrants.
The detected assets include a duplex house of Rs 47,04,147, cost of marble and tile flooring and wall finishing of Rs 32,72,399, two plots in Baleswar worth Rs 3,92,800, bank deposits of Rs 1,58,395, installment paid in different lIC policies of Rs 39,02,143, deposits in different financial institutions of Rs 13,31,700, investment in real goat farming and Panchabati Holiday Resort of Rs 4,14,908, cost of gold ornaments of 4,79,000 and hard cash of Rs 37,232.
