Vigilance sleuths on Monday arrested Koraput district’s Kundura block Mission Shakti Resource Person (contractual) Pankajini Pradhan on charge of demanding and accepting bribe of Rs3,000 from a Self Help Group representative to release last loan installment of Rs1 lakh. Acting on a complaint lodged by Bhandar Gharani SHG president lachama Kamar, the sleuths laid a trap and caught Pradhan red-handed while accepting Rs3,000 as bribe from the complainant on the veranda of her house at Kundura. The case was still under investigation, an official release informed.
