Kendrapada Sadar police station IIC Sarat Chandra Patra on Thursday arrested Prasant Jena (22) of Shyamasundarpur in Balia locality on the charges of allegedly misbehaving with fellow villagers by his prank calls on a mobile phone. Police seized the mobile phone and four mobile SIMs from his possession. Police rounded up Jena on a complaint by one Ekadashi Jena of Shyamsundarpur village that the former was harassing him and his family members by hoax calls.Jena also reportedly misbehaved with several others by the same mischief. He was produced under Section 294, 506 and 507 of IPC before the SDJM Court of Kendrapara where he was remanded to jail custody after his bail petition was rejected.
