One Kuna Malla allegedly chopped the right hand of a 30-year-old fellow village youth Manoranjan Rout with a sharp weapon at Sankarpur village under Derabish police limits on Sunday. The cause was said to be past rivalry. As a result, the right hand of Manorjan was separated from his wrist.
The injured was rushed to the Derabish CHC and later, shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack in a critical condition. Meanwhile, Derabish Police have registered a case and conducting an inquiry. No arrest was made so far, stated Derabish IIC Niranjan Sabar.
