The four-day-long pen-down strike by the OAS officers in Kendrapada district was called off on Thursday after the district Collector assured the district unit of the OAS Association to look into its two-point charter of demands. The demands were to nab all the attackers of Marshaghai BDO SK Pati and to provide security to OAS officials. A delegation of the district unit of the OAS Association held talks with Collector Nitin Bhanudas Jawale, who requested them to withdraw the stir, said the unit’s general secretary Kendrapada Tehsildar Dharitri Mishra.
