The heart-rending incident took place at Katanabania village under Rajkanika police station, said IIC Sandhyarani Beura. According to the IIC, Pramila Rout(19), daughter of Biswanath Rout of Ananatapur village under Rajkanika police station, on May 9 had tied nuptial knot with Bikas Rout, son of Basant Rout of Katanabania village . When denied, Bikas allegedly attacked Pramila resulting in her death. She was later rushed to the local CHC for treatment but the doctor declared her received dead. On Monday Pramila’s father Biswanath lodged an FIR with police.
