The National lok Adalat organised here on Saturday disposed of as many as 17,271 petty cases through mutual understanding among litigants.
A total of Rs 2.63 crore was realized as compensation and fine. A total of 143 civil cases were settled. Similarly, 68 motor vehicle accident cases were disposed of and a sum of Rs 92.32 lakh of compensation provided to the deceased’s family members and injured.
