Some Plus II Science examinees of the Kendrapada Autonomous College on Monday met their Principal and made complaints that some theory questions of Physics and Mathematics, which they attempted in the examinations conducted on March 8 and March 15 respectively, were out of their syllabus.
The students urged the Principal to put forth the matter before the Chairman of the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) as well as the Higher Education Department for appropriate action well before evaluation and publication of results. “We apprehend we would fail. We are in mental agony as the Plus II result matters in building a good career. If appropriate action is not taken, our lives will be spoiled,” said the students. When contacted, Principal Prafulla Panda said he would comment on the complaint only after conducting a through inquiry.
