Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Kamakhya Prasad Singh Deo met Chief Minister Naveen Panaik at the latter’s residence Naveen Niwas here on Thursday.
The meeting between the two leaders which lasted for about half an hour set off political speculations.
KP Singh Deo is an old adversary of the BJD’s Dhenkanal MP Tathagata Satpathy in the local politics. The scion of the Dhenkanal royal family was also a political opponent of Tathagata’s late mother and former Chief Minister Nandini Satpathy in the Dhenkanal district politics.
