The Koshal State Coordination Committee has given a call for a western Odisha Bandh on Tuesday to build up support among the people of the region for the movement demanding for a separate State of Koshal.
Supporters of the Koshal movement staged a motorbike rally here on Saturday. It started from the Samalei Temple of Bargarh and passed through Bheden and Chiplima before ending at the Maa Samalei Temple in Sambalpur.
En route to Sambalpur, the bikers sensitised villagers on the demand for a Koshal State. The rally was led by Koshal State Coordination Committee convener Sunil Purohit.
