Kosal Dal will bag Narla seat, claims party leader

Every periodic visit to Narla has raised the confidence of leaders of the Kosal Kranti Dal (KKD) that the party would win the next election from this Assembly constituency as an undercurrent in favour of the party is gradually sweeping the area, claimed KKD working president Baidyanath Mishra.

He told reporters here that the KKD is consolidating its position in all the panchayats under the Narla constituency. A feeling of “nationalism” is being created among the voters there in the name of a “second freedom movement” obviously to liberate ‘Kosalanchal’ from the clutches of the politicians of the coastal belt.

The message that “the western belt is full of minerals and natural resources, and with separation and proper mobilisation these resources this could be one of the richest States of the country” is percolating down to the masses with optimism, Mishra said. That “the people of western Odisha districts are suffering down the centuries because of the ‘Big Brother’ attitude of the successive coastal politicians-ruled Governments” is slowly creating an anti-establishment wave among the  voters in the western belt, he asserted.

“It may be too early to pinpoint an election result in favour of the KKD, but in the next Assembly polls it will not be a speculation if the KKD proves to be a dark horse,” Mishra claimed.

He said that by mid-October, the Narla constituency is expected to present a clearer picture in favour of the KKD when all the 62 panchayat committees of the party are formed and put on gear for the next polls.
