The agitation demanding establishment of a High Court Bench in undivided Koraput district would be intensified, said former Nabarangpur district BJD president Jaydeb Kumar Parida. Parida who took over as chairman of the core committee on the issue from Prahalad Dora convened a meeting here in the Umerkote Bar Association premises and said the action plan for intensifying the agitation would be prepared soon.
There will be another meeting of the committee on June 12 in Umerkote wherein the delegates of all Bar Associations of undivided Koraput district, different trade unions and social organizations would be participate. Among others Umerkote Bar Association secretary Srinibash Patnaik, senior advocate Jhadeswar Mohanty, Ram Nayak, Bipin Hial, and Kamal Gain were present.
