The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has changed the timetable for tourists to enter the Sun Temple at Konark which came into effect from Friday (November 1).
Besides, the timetable of light and sound shows which are being displayed by the ASI as next attraction for tourists has also been rescheduled in the evening.
As per the new timings, the Sun Temple will remain open for visitors from 6 am to 6 pm. Likewise, the light and sound shows will commence from 6.30 pm to 7.10 pm and then from 7.30 pm to 8.10 pm where tourists can enjoy the most fascinating events for 40 minutes inany of the two shows.
The changed time schedules will continue till 28 February 2020. From
March 1to October 31, 2020, the old timetable will again come intoeffect.
The change of time has been made in view of tourist’s season beginning in Odisha with entry of winter.
