The ST & SC Development Department on Saturday started an initiative for a virtual tour of the Odisha State Tribal Museum located at the campus of the SCSTRTI here during the Covid shutdown on Sunday.
The visitors can have an insight into the indigenous knowledge system of the Dongaria Kondh tribe through Facebook and Twitter pages of the department. People can see and learn about the Dongaria Kondhs’ lives in Bissam Cuttack, Kalyansinghpur, Munniguda blocks of Rayagada district and their occupations of embroidery, wood carving, wall painting, comb making, pineapple cultivation and fruit processing, etc.
