In a yet another such heinous crime in the State, a minor girl was gangraped and later dumped at Baliguda in Kandhamal district.
As per reports, the victim was kidnapped by two youths from her own village by a car while she was returning from her neighbor’s house. Sources informed that the girl was raped and then was dumped elsewhere, following which the accused fled. The victim was rescued in the morning by nearby villagers. A police complaint has been lodged by the family members of the victim. Based on the complaint, police arrested the two youths and the car driver.
