The Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG), a movement started by Gujarat’s Narendra Modi Government, has opened its Odisha chapter here.
To mark the launching, the volunteers of the CAG organised a unique kite festival in the KIIT University premises on Tuesday on the occasion of the famous Makar Sankranti festival.
Kites with life-size images of Narendra Modi were flown attracting a large number of youths and children from across the city. Journalist Girija Das, Chitta Kar, Sashvat Panda and Raju Tiwary led the event.
“The turn up of a sizable number of youths to the event proves the spirit of younger breed in Odisha to make BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi the next Prime Minister, said CAG Odisha convenor Chitta Kar.
