KISS University Vice-Chancellor Prof Harekrushna Satapathy has been nominated to get the Rashtrapati Samman for his contributions to teaching and research and propagation of Sanskrit and Odia languages and Indian culture.
Earlier, Prof Satapathy has bagged several national and State-level awards and accolades. Prior to his joining the KISS, he had successfully completed his stint as VC of the Tirupati Sanskrit University and Professor of Ravenshaw University. So far, he has written and published over 40 books. More than 100 students have been awarded MPhil, PhD and DLit under his guidance.
