Complying with the requisition made by the Executive Engineer (R&B), Division-III Bhubaneswar, the joint eviction team of the capital city on Tuesday clearedencroachments between Patia Big Bazaar and KIIT Square.The joint eviction team consisting of BDA, BMC, GA, R&B, and the Commissionerate Police removed two AC sheeted structures, three staircases, ten cabins, 15 temporary polythene structures and seven extended portico for the expansion of the existing road before the visit of the President to KIIT, said a Press release issued by the BDAHowever, two Omfed and two Oppelfed booths were not removed as the same are to be relocated by the BMC.Three excavators were engaged by the squad under the direct supervision of BDA Enforcement Officer Pramod Kumar Patro and liasioning Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty.
