KIIT felicitates city airport director Sharad Kumar

Biju Patnaik International Airport Director Sharad Kumar was felicitated by the KIIT on Friday. KIIT founder Dr Achyuta Samanta and secretary RN Dash felicitated Kumar for his dedicated efforts, adherence to excellence in service and effective leadership in making Odisha proud by bringing the honour of being the 33rd best airport in the world and 6th best in the country as surveyed recently by an independent international agency, Airport Services Quality (ASQ), which ranks airports worldwide on passenger satisfaction index.

Kumar said it is now very rare to get appreciation from others for any good work though it doesn’t value any cost. But Samanta has such kind of art, which may be called as art of appreciation. He thanked Dr Samanta for his guidance and advice time to time, which encouraged him in development of infrastructure of the airport.
