The Commissionerate Police on Sunday arrested another accused involved in the killing of a minor boy Debendra Prusty (11) of the Sweeper Basti under the Capital police limits here.
The accused, identified as Anil Nayak (19), along with his associate Sunil Gochhayat (19) belonging to the same basti had allegedly killed the minor on June 12 after having unnatural sex with him. Gochhayat was arrested earlier in the case.
On the day of the incident, the duo had taken Debendra from their locality to a bush near the Mahima Ashram under the Airfield police limits in the city and committed the barbaric act with the minor before strangulating him to death. Police nabbed Anil from the Unit-VI area in the city and forwarded him to a court here.
