A few Home Guards, who were working under Kendrapada Town Police station, alleged that they were harassed by their platoon Commander if they denied providing money from their monthly salary. The Home Guards alleged that platoon commander of Home Guards Narayan Jena was collecting money and if any one denied, the latter harassed him intentionally. The platoon commander demanded Rs 200 to Rs 300 per month from their salary, they specified. Meanwhile, Kendrapada SP Satish Kumar Gajbhiye said he would conduct an inquiry and take stern action against the platoon Commander, if the allegations are proved correct.
