Kendrapara SP Satish Kumar Gajavhiye gave a hint on Monday of taking departmental action against those officials against whom show-cause notices were served for their inefficiency or dereliction of duty.
Gajavhiye stated that on December 10, he served show-cause notices to 12 police personnel, including two Sub- Inspectors and 10 ASIs. He also directed the errant police officials to clear their stand in writings within a week. Meanwhile, he received their explanations but they were not satisfactory. He said that he would appoint an inquiry officer and later, based on the officer’s report would take departmental action.
According to the SP, the show-cause notices were served against SN Satapathy(SI Mahakalapada PS ), PK Kanungo (SI Patkura PS), BK Parida (ASI of Rajkanaika PS ), MK Pradhan(ASI of Rajkanika PS ),DS Behera(ASI of Rajkanika),RK Samal (ASI of Kendrapara Sadar PS), RB Swain(ASI of Patkura PS), RC Sethy (ASI of Town PS), BD Jena (ASI of Patkura PS),TK Kanungo(ASI of Town PS), HK Behera (ASI of Town PS) and RK Das(ASI of Sadar PS).
