Kendrapada Coop Bank staffers threaten strike

Published on:

The employees of the Rajnagar-based Cuttack Central Co-operative Bank and the office bearers of PAC condemned the act of Rajnagar police for its callous attitude in not arresting the accused, involved in creating hooliganism inside the bank and threatening the bank staff. They threatened to go for pen-down if the Rajnagar police didn't arrest the accused in the case whereas the staff of PACS too threatened to cease paddy procurement activities along with official works.

If sources are to be believed , one Debadutta Baral of Firkidandi village came with some women to take loan from Cuttack Central Co-operative Bank of Rajnagar branch.

The branch manager did not sanction the loan as the signature in the application mismatched with the signature of the women who came with him to the bank.

As a result, being irate over the fact, Debadutta allegedly created a reign of terror inside the bank and also  attempted  to throw brick  and threatened the staff of dire consequences.

The branch manager later lodged an FIR at Rajnagar police station. The police later registered a case and started investigation but failed to arrest the accused.
