Utkal Bikash Yuba Parishad president Debiprasad Prusti along with MDMK leader Vaiko called on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and discussed about Parishad’s Netaji Janma Mati Yatraat with him at his office chamber in New Delhi on Wednesday afternoon.
Prusti apprised the CM that Parishad has taken up the nationwide yatra from Netaji’s birthplace Cuttack to war-field Imphal to press for its demand declassification of all Netaji files lying in the PMO and other Central Government offices. Prusti gifted a silk shawl to Kejriwal and invited him to be a part of the said yatra to receive the Netaji’s holy birth soil in third week of March.
In response, Kejriwal favoured Parishad’s demand stating that every countryman has the right to know about Netaji and declassification of files would meet this aspiration. He too expressed happiness over Parishad’s initiative involving youths and students.
