Kansa too orders surgical strike, note ban

In Bargarh Dhanuyatra, the fear of Maharaj Kansa has reached the peak as he has gone wary of killing Bal Krishna ever since he hears a ‘Sunyabani’ (voice from the heaven) warning him of his death in the hands of the kid. Kansa orders for a ‘surgical strike’ at Gopapura where Bal Krishna has taken birth.

As part of conspiracy to kill Krishna, Maharaja Kansa sends ferocious demons like Putana, Sakata, Bakasura, Dhenuka, Agha, Pralambha, Sandha to Gopapura. But all his plans fail as all of the demons lose their lives in the hands of Bal Krishna. The vey order of a surgical strike to kill Krishna from the Rangamancha (Yatra Pendal) provided enough of amusement to the audiences. They couldn’t but laugh to their heart’s content hearing the very term, referring to a recent attack of the Indian Army on the terrorists hideouts in Pakistan territory.

Kansa further orders for demonetization, again a recent strategy adopted by the Modi Government to curb black money, in the entire Gopapura to destabilize the economy there. At any cost must Krishna be killed and the people of Gopapura who are providing all protection to the miraculous boy must be taught a lesson, says Kansa from the theatre pendal.

“At least our Kansa Maharaj is updated with the national happenings. Of course, he is more interested in entertaining the audience in the chilled nights,” commented Dally Dora, an audience of Bargarh.

And to get God’s blessings, Maharaja Kansa worships Mukteswar Mahadev in traditional manner. He reaches the temple in Bargarh city and worships with all devotion to get his blessings and save life. He also chants ‘Siva Panchakshysri Mantra’ to appease the God.
