The Kalinga TV in association with the KIIT School of Film and Media Sciences would organise its 2nd colloquium on July 31.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate the colloquium in the presence of eminent media personalities and film makers from across the country. Various issues relating to the media would be discussed on the occasion. This year’s theme is ‘Future of Media’.
The colloquium would feature four panel discussions on ‘New Media Moguls,’ ‘View from the Ground, Bharat and India’, ‘Reach and Impact of language Media’ and ‘Television and Entertainment World’. Media personalities from different parts of the country would join in the technical sessions. Eminent TV personalities Nil Madhab Panda, Yash Patnaik, Smruti Choudhury, Mehak Sabat, Danish Khan and Harshita Gaur would also be present.
The Kalinga Media and Entertainment Private ltd launched its 24x7 news channel Kalinga TV on April 18, 2015. The Kalinga TV, founded by Dr Achyuta Samanta, is dedicated and committed to work in suggestive, positive and constructive way for the betterment of the society.
