The State Government would release the second instalment of the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) money in November.
Briefing the media after a meeting presided over by Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy at the Lok Seva Bhawan here on Tuesday, Agriculture Secretary Saurav Garg said the verification of list of beneficiaries has been completed and the Government would release the money next month.
But he did not reveal the number of eligible and ineligible beneficiaries identified in the verification process which was completed in August 2019.
Notably, the State Government had extended the deadline for survey of farmers till August 27.
The process to prepare the list of farmers was completed at the block and district levels by August 29 and August 31, respectively.
Agriculture Minister Arun Sahoo has directed officials to ensure that no eligible farmer is left out of the scheme. For any kind of error in the KALIA list, the officials would be responsible, he said.
