The Kalinga Sena on Friday announced its first phase list of candidates for four lok Sabha and 13 Assembly constituencies.
Announcing the names, party supremo Hemant Rath informed that his party would field candidates in all Assembly and lok Sabha seats and the second phase of announcement of candidates will be made on March 12. While lawyer Sabyasachi Mohapatra will contest from Puri lok Sabha seat, Baikunth Dhangada Majhi will contest from Kalahandi, Satyaranan Jena from Cuttack and Manas Ranjan Samal from Bhadrak.
For the 13 Assembly constituencies, the candidates are Hemabanti Nayak for Bhawanipatana, Arkur Prasad Sethia for Dharmgada, Rajesh Kumar Mund for Junagada, Jagabandhu Mahanta for Ghasipura, Sanjay Kumar Sahoo for Champua, Jitendra Kumar Das for Nilgiri, Ranjan Dangua for Khalikote, Bijay Kumar Sethi for Tirtol, Nalinikant Behera for Mahakalpada, Surendranath Mohanty for Rajnagar, Bijay Kumar Jena for Bari, Jadumani Mahanta for Sukinda and Pradip Kumar Sahoo for Athamallik.
