The Kalinga Sena, a regional political outfit, on Friday lodged an FIR against West Bengal-based Rose Valley group with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch here demanding immediate arrest of the company officials who have allegedly duped thousands of poor Odisha investors.
“The Rose Valley Hotel and Entertainment limited has purchased a flat of 11,000 sqft worth Rs 5 crore at Utkal Signature at Pahal on the city outskirts taking the money of poor Odia people in the name of chit fund business.
While FIRs have been lodged against the company in various police stations in the State for cheating, the Crime Branch is yet to seize the flat and arrest the top company authorities,” said Kalinga Sena supremo Hemant Rath.
“We urge the EOW to seize the flat and arrest the culprits immediately and initiate action against them,” he said.
