A case has come to the fore where Rajkanika police apprehended a juvenile, who is 14 years old , for his alleged involvement in raping an 11 years old girl under Rajkanika police station, informed police sources.
The accused was later produced before the CJM-cum-Principal Magistrate Juvenile Justice Board and later he was later sent to Reformatory school at Angul.
Meanwhile, the victim girl has been undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, in critical condition.According to police sources, the juvenile allegedly invited to the minor girl into a lonely place and later raped her. The juvenile later fled the spot.
