A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Collector, Kandhmal, Dr Brunda D for peaceful celebration of Christmas following Covid 19 guidelines.
A maximum of 10 to 15 persons can be allowed for prayer at a time, while 50 may be allowed to take prasad. SP Kandhmal Vinit Agrawal said the cold wave would prevail till January; so Christian brothers and sisters should hold prayer inside their homes.
Kui Samaj secretary Lambodar Kanhar praised the initiative of the district administration. Senior journalist Arup Jena urged the administration to consider the demands of the Christian community.
