Inspired by ideals of BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Khordha Congress district vice-president Sudarshan Sundray and Cuttack DCC secretary Wallib Patel along with their hundreds of supporters joined the BJD at the Naveen Niwas here on Saturday.
Welcoming them to the party fold, Patnaik said Sundray and Patel’s joining would strengthen the BJD in Khordha and Cuttack districts further.
Patel said he joined the ruling party after being driven by the clean governance and strong leadership of the Chief Minister.
